A fantastic and rare mid 19th century Victorian hand painted wooden sign or notice from a West Country market, likely originally hung above a superintendeds office, explaining the regulations and bylaws of the market.
Original condition with no signs of repainting, the sign is weathered and has evidence of historical woodworm and rot to the back, but has been treated several times by us and is definitely no longer live.
